Program Overview

The objective is to develop the overall specialized talents in Chinese to meet the need of modern international society. After completing their studies, students will possess systematic professional knowledge in Chinese language, advanced ability to communicate in Chinese, to understand Chinese culture and to take a profession related to Chinese language. Students majoring in different directions can be engaged in professions as teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages and international trade related to China, and will have enough Chinese language proficiency and professional ability for further study. This major consists of two directions: TCSOL(teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) and Business Chinese.
