Curriculum Structure
Year 1: Students begin with the basics of pharmacy through subjects such as Introduction to Pharmaceutical Sciences, General Chemistry and Laboratory Safety in Pharmaceutical Practices. They also study Anatomy and Histology, Introduction to Molecular Biology and Genetics and Biostatistics, building a solid foundation in pharmaceutical and health sciences.

Year 4: The programme becomes more advanced and professionally focused, with subjects such as Pharmacology-III, Pharmaceutical Chemistry-III and Pharmaceutical Technology-III. Students also study Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Pharmacotherapy-I, Hospital Pharmacy Applications and Community Pharmacy Applications, gaining a stronger understanding of drug safety, treatment and pharmacy services.
Year 5: Students develop stronger clinical and industry-focused skills through Clinical Pharmacy, Biopharmacy and Pharmacokinetics and Pharmaceutical Care. They also complete Thesis Project-I and II, study Biological Products and Instrumental Analytical Methods, and explore Industry Pharmacy Applications and pharmaceutical quality control.
Year 6: The final year focuses heavily on professional practice and research. Students complete Thesis Project-III, Hospital Pharmacy Practice Experience, Pharmacy Practice and Industrial Practice Experience, followed by practical clerkships in Pharmacy Practice, Industrial Pharmaceutical and Hospital Pharmacy settings.

International Tuition Fee (Per Annum): €6,653 (equivalent to US$7,629 for newly registered international students with a 60% scholarship). Other scholarship rates: 65% – €6,029, 70% – €5,406, 75% – €4,782 (approx.).
The university does not publish a separate annual tuition fee for domestic students on the programme page.
Applicants without an accepted English qualification must take the EMU English Placement and Proficiency Exams. A minimum score of 60/100 in the EMU English Proficiency Exam is required for exemption from the English Preparatory School (for most undergraduate programmes).
