Curriculum Structure

Year 1: Building Your Foundation
Your first year introduces you to the core principles of psychology and research methodology. Learning Outcomes

Professional Alignment

Our curriculum meets the European Qualification Standard for Psychologists (EuroPsy) and the Turkish Psychological Association criteria. Both our English and Turkish-medium programs are accredited by the Turkish Psychologists Association Accreditation Supreme Board until 2029, placing us among only 18 accredited psychology programs in Turkey and the only accredited program among universities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

- Computer facilities: Access two psych department computer labs (plus three more in the faculty with 26 computers each), smart boards, and university databases for the latest psych developments.
- Counseling practice spaces: Train in individual and group psychological counseling rooms at the EMU Psychological Counseling, Guidance & Research Center (PDRAM), which offers free services, research activities, and psycho-education programs.
- Library resources: Dive into 800+ books on Guidance and Psychological Counseling, 3,500 e-books in education, and psych-specific databases at the Özay Oral Library.
