Program Overview

The bachelor's study program Forestry, specialization Economics and management of forest management , can be studied full-time or combined. The aim of the study is to deepen students' knowledge in the field of economic evaluation of wood raw materials, valuation of all ecosystem services and to deepen their knowledge in the field of marketing and so-called green-jobs. It combines three basic aspects: economic, forestry and management. It thus provides students with a broad foundation and they are able to connect these three disciplines and think in the context of these areas. The major is ideal for students who want to work in economic positions in the context of forestry and also represents a universal and branch-oriented basis for further studies in economics, forestry or other related disciplines.
