Program Overview

Forestry, specialization Protection and cultivation of forest ecosystems can be studied full-time or combined. The three-year course provides a comprehensive education in biological, ecological and technical subjects. The aim is to provide all students with broad theoretical knowledge regarding all the functions of forest ecosystems, their interconnectedness and importance within 21st century society, the role of society in the management of natural resources and the use of these natural resources, including the role of forestry in the so-called bio-economy, including of course also the strong social aspect of sustainable use of forest ecosystems. The subjects are arranged in such a way that students gain an insight into all core forestry disciplines and are able to apply them in practice. Whether it is nature protection, forest production or the provision of recreational and other functions of the forest.
