The bachelor study program Textile technology, materials and nanomaterials covers the entire breadth of issues related to the textile industry thanks to two specializations. The aim of the study is to prepare university-educated experts in the field of textile and special fibers, textile metrology, textile technologies (spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing and production of non-woven textiles), both for clothing and for technical purposes (housing, medical, construction, protective , sports and other applications). The study provides theoretical connections that are necessary in the development and innovation of technological procedures and the preparation and application of outputs of higher-order innovations. During the course of study, the student acquires not only theoretical and practical knowledge at a given level, but also sufficient flexibility, the ability to communicate professionally in the English language, an overview of technical fields and skills collectively referred to as soft skills . For better application on the labor market in connection with the introduction of innovations within the Industry 4.0 trend, great emphasis is placed on acquiring practical skills and experience. During the studies, the student completes various types of practical courses, within the professional profiling subjects of the field, which are taught interactively in semi-operational and specialized laboratories of FT TUL.
