Program Overview

The bachelor's study program History of Art is intended for those interested in the study of fine arts and architecture from antiquity to the end of the twentieth century. In addition to providing a basic overview of the epochs, the teaching focuses on the interpretation of the cultural, political and religious context in which works of art are created and function. Students will learn to work both with works of art as such, as well as with specialist literature and written sources, in order to be able to see, describe and interpret art correctly
