The Theater Studies program is focused on research, theory and criticism, but it can also be a starting point for your own theater practice (e.g. in the field of dramaturgy). The study consists of learning about Czech and world theater history, contemporary drama and today's staging practice, as well as examining the theatricality of ordinary events in all spheres of human life and society. Even a political speech, for example, can be a nice piece of theater, You will learn to analyze dramatic texts and theater productions, write theater reviews and professional texts . And if you want, you will gain knowledge and skills that will help you create theater.
