Program Overview

The Special Education study program is a bachelor's full-time study program that provides higher education preparing graduates to work with children/pupils/students with special educational needs. The study program includes subjects focused on special pedagogy and its sub-disciplines, as well as pedagogy, psychology and the basics of medical sciences. An integral part of the study is professional practice, which is included in each semester of study. The bachelor's study program provides the basis of a university education for further follow-up master's studies in special education.
