Program Overview

In the three semesters of the Product Design specialization, you will gain knowledge and skills in the field of free 3D modeling (Rhinoceros), generation of photorealistic visualizations (V-Ray for Rhino software), vector and bitmap graphics (textures for rendering and posters presenting semester and closing projects), creation of generative models (Grasshopper for Rhino software), finite element method application (Ansys Workbench and Ansys Discovery Live software -- topological optimization), parametric 3D modeling in CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks), production of prototypes and models of additive technologies, ergonomics and somatography, current happenings in product design, etc.
