Program Overview

The bachelor's study program Italian language and literature opens the way for you to acquire basic knowledge and competences in the field of Italian language, Italian linguistics and literature , history and culture of Italy. After successfully completing your studies, you will be able to communicate orally and in writing in the Italian language, at the C1 level. You will have an overview of the functioning of Italian as a specific Romance language, you will become familiar with the history of Italian literature and you will be able to read and analyze literary works in the original Italian. You will learn about the political and cultural history of Italy and explore its current realities.
