What are auxiliary historical sciences If anyone thinks that this is some inferior appendix of history, they are deeply mistaken. Historical knowledge cannot do without several traditional disciplines focused on analyzing and making written sources available . Although these disciplines represent the basic tools for the study of early history , they are today represented by a single course in the history curriculum. Therefore, if you are interested in older Czech and European history (up to around 1800), historical auxiliary sciences represent an excellent supplement or an interesting alternative to the study of history and other historical sciences.
