Program Overview

"Biophysics is a modern scientific discipline that uses the latest physical approaches to study biological processes at the molecular level. All life as we know it is primarily dependent on the function of proteins (proteins) and protein complexes. These protein complexes are essentially molecular machines that are responsible for all processes taking place in living organisms. The diversity of functions and types of proteins is also reflected in the enormous variability of life on earth. Proteins, together with other types of molecules such as DNA, which, unlike proteins, primarily serve as data storage, work and above all they ""work together"", and it is this collaboration that leads to complex processes such as respiration, cell division or photosynthesis."
