Program Overview

The Biology for Education program (double major) is a bachelor's degree in teacher training for secondary schools. In addition to biology, students enroll in a second approval field, which they study at the same time as biology. Within the P F JU, they can apply for combinations of biology with chemistry, physics, mathematics and informatics. The graduate is educated as a professional bachelor of biology and as a professional bachelor of a second field and can continue to study teaching for secondary schools, or in an interdisciplinary master's study program, such as biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics and the like, depending on the choice of the second field
