To provide students with a general engineering education and prepare them to solve large-scale tasks within interdisciplinary international teams with an emphasis on knowledge of the professional German language.Currently, in the Czech Republic and in German-speaking countries, there is a constant shortage of experts with adequate education and satisfactory language competences. At the same time, this deficiency is also manifested in countries speaking other languages, because even there they need to do business with German-speaking customers, who represent a significant share of the EU market with their investment volumes
