Program Overview

The Bachelor study program Society and Politics follows on from the fields of Sociology and Political Science. The program builds on long-proven elements of both disciplines and combines them within the framework of a new multidisciplinary study. The Department of Sociology and the Department of Political Science and International Relations thus break the boundaries of traditional scientific disciplines with the aim of increasing the relevance of the education provided. The goal is the comprehensive training of a versatile expert focused on sociological and political analysis.
