"The field of study in visual arts is developed in three painting studios (Painting Studio 1--3), as well as in two sculpture studios (Sculpture Studio 1, 2) and in the Drawing and Graphics Studio. This field at the Faculty of Fine Arts represents traditional artistic disciplines that have not lost their relevance even in the era referred to as ""post-media"". In the field of painting and sculpture, the existence of a greater number of studios reflects the internal differentiation of artistic practice in these disciplines. Here, students can choose between studios following traditional issues, such as figurative sculpture or painting in relation to architecture, and studios emphasizing the development that traditional disciplines have undergone since the 1960s, which, following Rosalind Krauss, we could collectively describe as a movement in the ""extended field"". Painting, sculpture, drawing or graphics in this sense are not self-contained disciplines that exclusively follow the specificity of the medium."
