Program Overview

"The field of study is provided by seven studios: Studio of environment, Studio of intermedia, Studio of performance, Studio of body design, Studio of video, Studio of game media and Studio of photography. Ideologically, the field is anchored in two areas. On the one hand, there are the neo-avant-garde tendencies of the 1960s, with which then marginal tendencies, such as intermediality, the procedural and action character of creation, the local specificity of art, de-skilling, dematerialization and the concept of the work of art as a semantic proposition, entered the mainstream of contemporary art. And then it is visual culture and the associated artistic strategies that find themselves in a dynamic dialogue with the creation of ""non-artistic"" images."
