The Architectural Technology and Construction Management programme at UCN prepares students to design buildings, plan construction work and manage projects from the initial idea through to completion. Year 3: Students study Renovation, learning how to assess existing buildings, develop suitable refurbishment solutions and manage renovation projects, including energy optimisation. They then complete a 20-week internship, giving them the opportunity to put their classroom knowledge into practice in a professional construction environment.

Final Semester: Students complete a Bachelor Project, often based on a real construction challenge or an issue identified during their internship. This gives them the opportunity to independently analyse a construction problem and demonstrate their technical, practical and project-management skills.
