This course begins in L3 from a common trunk in L1 and L2 shared with the Archeology course. It offers general training in art history which aims to familiarize students with the discipline through the diversity of works of art and artistic techniques (painting, sculpture, architecture, graphic arts, decorative arts, etc.) four historical periods -- ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary --, with an opening on extra-Western arts.
