Program Overview

The LLCER European and International Studies License, offered to students who are already bilingual, or even trilingual, has the following objectives to study in depth two languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) and the cultures born of these languages, in Europe and in the world; to acquire or reinforce the mastery of a 3 rd language; to place the study of these languages in a more global cultural framework thanks to the additional education Cultural Spaces which is available over six semesters, with focus on cross-cutting issues in the different linguistic areas: France seen from elsewhere ; Plurilingualism and transculturality ; Imperial Europe, colonial Europe ; The pasts in the present ; Exiles and migrations ; World Literature in Translation, an introduction to cultural professions internationally (audiovisual and multimedia, heritage and museology, performing arts, publishing and documentation, cultural institutions), initiation completed by a professional internship.
