Program Overview

The Department of English Studies offers a curriculum that encompasses the different areas of English: language; linguistics, literature and civilization of the English-speaking world. The department also has the specificity of offering recognized teaching in Irish studies, as well as preparation for two professional masters (Master MEEF and Master in Translation). Pre-professionalization is offered from the first year of the Bachelor's degree. The studies can be followed from an English-speaking partner establishment at the end of the Bachelor's or Master's degree. Debates in English, oral practice with English-speaking readers, film club in original version or even theater in English are all opportunities offered to students to familiarize themselves with the English language.

Additional Information & Requirements

High school transcripts, Original diploma allowing access to university (equivalent to the French baccalaureate), as well as its sworn translation into French, a certificate of level of knowledge in French (minimum required: TCF B2, DELF B2 or DUEF B2).
