Program Overview

The objective of the Degree in Art History is to provide students with the historical knowledge as well as the methods necessary for the understanding and analysis of works, whether two-dimensional (drawing, painting, engraving etc.) or three-dimensional (architecture, sculpture, furniture etc.). This teaching mainly concerns historical periods (ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary periods) with an opening on Prehistory as well as on non-Western Arts.
