Program Overview

The musicology course provides you with a broad knowledge of music in the past and present. In historical musicology you deal with musical works and practices in their cultural-historical contexts, in music sociology and philosophy with the social, psychological and philosophical dimensions of music. After completing your studies, you will be able to analyze music-cultural phenomena and to contribute competently to the discourse on music.
