Program Overview

The study of systematic musicology should enable students to become independent, critical, socially responsible and creative scientific work in the disciplines of the subject. It is based on the physical, psycho-physiological and anthropological foundations of music. The students acquire a sound knowledge of acoustic and psychoacoustic processes and how these are related to the formation and processing of sounds. In addition, they familiarize themselves with the psychological, social and cultural conditions of dealing with music.
