The mandolin training at the Cologne University of Music and Dance in Wuppertal has been the top address for the artistic and educational study of the instrument for three decades.At the Cologne University of Music and Dance, Wuppertal location, the only professorship in Europe for the artistic main subject mandolin is currently located. The mandolin training here has set standards in the professionalization of students for decades and is considered a competence center in the international mandolin world. Artistic skills, didactic and musicological expertise are imparted to the students by top-class lecturers and lead to a comprehensive education.

General higher education entrance qualification or a comparable higher education entrance qualification, University entrance qualification :Proof of university entrance qualification Abitur certificate / admission to the Abitur or an equivalent recognized previous education, most recent school certificate for the determination procedure of outstanding artistic talent, List of the pieces/works prepared for the aptitude test according to the aptitude test regulations, Proof of payment, CV, To prove that you have sufficient German language skills, you must submit either TestDaF level 3, certificate B2 from the Goethe Institute or certificate B2 from the Common European Framework of Reference or holders of the DSH German language test for university entrance, have one of the following certificates from the Goethe Institute: Goethe certificate C1, central upper level examination ZOP, small or large German language diploma each level C2/C2+, have completed a degree in German
