Mathematical Finance is concerned with the analysis of national and international financial markets. The main focus is on the mathematical analysis of economic decision-making problems. During your studies you will learn how to analyse economic problems using complex mathematical methods. The foundations for this are formed by a comprehensive education in mathematics and economics, based on an equal distribution of classes in these two disciplines. In addition to this, you will acquire a general scientific understanding and the necessary scientific work techniques.
