This course offers a range of engaging modules which expose students to coding, creating databases, creating web documents, analysing data, and working with cloud services. Through practical and authentic exercise students experience key areas such as programming (Java), databases (MySQL), web authoring (HTML, CSS) and productivity tools (Office suite). Students also assess ethics the computing and IT project management, and have access to resources provided by vendors such as Oracle, Cisco and Amazon, providing the opportunity to earn certifications and badges that bolster employability.
To be eligible to study this degree, we need to see that you have:
Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; or completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent
IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element) or TOEFL iBT 60 - 78; or equivalent. We also accept a minimum score of 95 on the DuoLingo English language test.
Non-standard entry to the course may be considered based on your professional work experience.
