Program Overview

The Computer Science programme at the University of Bayreuth imparts basic competencies in practical as well as theoretical computer science on a broad front, and culminates in the awarding of a qualifying Bachelor of Science. It is therefore necessary for it not only to impart contemporary content to students, but also theoretically substantiated concepts and methods that will stand the test of time. These include analysis, design, implementation and project management skills, technological skills, and interdisciplinary, methodological and social skills.

Online Application Form, School Leaving Certificates and Transcripts, German language proficiency test for international university applicants DSH with a result of at least DSH 1, Test of German as a foreign language,Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache, TestDaF with a result of at least 14 points - no part under TDN 3, SD Zertifikat B2, Goethe-Zertifikat B2, telc Deutsch B2, B2 certificate IIK Bayreuth, certificate of the internal German language exam of the University of Bayreuth with Result corresponds to the DSH 1 level, English Language requirements: TOEFL 95 points, IELTS Academic minimum score of 6,5, Cambridge Certificate: First Certificate in English FCE, Proof can also be provided by submitting a German Abitur certificate if it certifies an English level of B2.
