Program Overview

The degree program in Informatik imparts insights into generally relevant fundamentals and methods of computer science as well as the ability to independently use this knowledge in connection with current IT technology and a wide range of areas of application. As a professional qualification, the degree gives you direct access to employment but is also a prerequisite for a subsequent Masters degree program in Computer Science, Computer Visualization, E-government, Web Science or Business Informatics.

Additional Information & Requirements

International students are required to submit proof of German language proficiency, Highschool degree that is recognized to be equivalent to the German Abitur. Additionally, you have to pass a language test, prove English skills by a TOEFL or IELTS test, English language skills are required at the level of B2, which means that a TOEFL result of 550 paper based / 213 computer based / 79 - 80 internet based, a IELTS 6,5 points, or higher are mandatory, German programs require German language skills DSH, level 2 or TestDAF, level 4 - a Goethe certificate or other language tests
