Program Overview

The study of art/art education is characterized by a close dovetailing of theory and practice. After introductory basic courses, the individual studio, workshop and laboratory work is accompanied by correction events. In addition, there is an examination of current and historical art. In subject didactics, the knowledge gained is related to the school and extracurricular occupational fields. Excursions are an important part of the course. Trips to the major museums in Paris, London, New York, Copenhagen, Rome, Venice and Vienna enable the encounter with the originals.
