The Bachelor's Degree Program in Social Work, Social Education and Childhood Education understands itself as a component of the conceived model, which contains two affine subjects within a vocational discipline, their subject didactics and practical components. The basic model takes into account both the requirements of the Teacher Training Act in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (eg the requirement that the professional master's degree is acquired from the University of Rostock) as well as nationwide requirements of the Conference of Ministers of Education. This will ensure that graduates throughout the Federal territory could take up teaching at vocational schools.
