Program Overview

"In the Civil Engineering course, you will learn how buildings and infrastructure systems are correctly planned, technically implemented and permanently maintained. On the basis of mathematical and scientific principles, we first teach you subject-specific skills and methods in the disciplines of mathematics, computer science, chemistry, physics, building construction, geodesy, mechanics, statics, building materials, steel construction, timber and masonry construction, construction management and business administration. Depending on your skills and interest, you can further expand your knowledge after completing your basic studies in the specializations ""Construction Engineering"" or ""Building Materials Engineering"" and specialize within the framework of a corresponding Master's degree."

Additional Information & Requirements

General higher education entrance qualification or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, the successful completion of the master's examination, the successful completion of a training course to become a state-certified technician or state-certified business economist, prerequisite for the admission of international students to the course is proof of language skills in German at competence level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference CEFR. a) Proof of native language acquisition of the university entrance qualification or a first professional qualification in a German-speaking country or b) Evidence based on one of the following certificates DSH-2 or TestDaF min. 4 x TDN 4 or equivalent proof.
