Program Overview

Business IT specialists plan and develop information systems in companies and public administrations as well as for the private sector. You analyze business processes and design suitable IT support for them. They use IT to develop new business models, for example on the Internet. The aim of this course is in particular to train students in a mediation role in the field of operational information processing and to bring them closer to the perspective of the user as well as the developer. To do this, students learn the basics of business administration on the one hand and the core competencies for developing software in the form of application systems on the other. At the same time, the foundations for a research-oriented master's program are laid.
