Program Overview

The computer science specialization is characterized by a system-technical orientation. Here, the means and methods of computer science, mathematics and engineering are integrated in an equal manner to form an overall science in which the three subjects stimulate each other. In addition to the classic mathematical and physical knowledge from the core area of the AIW course, the knowledge of the basics and application-oriented areas of computer science and systems engineering is imparted in the computer science specialization. This combination and the methods, procedures and tools from computer science and engineering enable the graduates, above all, to design complex technical systems with a high proportion of information processing.
