Industrial engineering is an interdisciplinary course. In a broad-based and approximately equivalent scientific and engineering as well as legal and economic education1 the students acquire the ability to combine engineering and business thinking and to solve corresponding problems together with specialists* from other disciplines. The students should acquire the ability to critically classify scientific findings and to familiarize themselves with the diverse tasks of application and subject-related fields of activity.
