BSc in Industrial Engineering

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Hamburg

Program Overview

In recent years, due to the economic development, specifically: globalization, has come to a reorientation of classical engineering education. The trend is moving away from purely technical specialization in a defined sub-area to thinking in larger contexts of the overall technical-economic complex. These requirements correspond to the Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (HWI), in that it combines the study contents of the two subjects. The HWI study course can be regarded as unique in Germany by combining application-oriented engineering education with research-oriented economic education.
