In comparative literature, we compare literatures and cultures. We ask what connections there are between different media such as novels, films or works of art from different times and in different languages, and thus put literary and cultural history in a special perspective. You will learn the basics of comparative analysis and address concepts such as interculturality, intermediality and gender.
