Whether climate change, environmental pollution or the invasion of alien animal species - many problems can hardly be solved with the help of individual scientific disciplines. Environmental systems scientists develop complex mathematical systems to keep track.In the Environmental Systems Science bachelor's degree, students deal with human-environment systems, for example, consider the pollution of water, soil and air, the resulting local and global risks and develop new approaches to environmental and resource protection. The study program is closely linked to the research subject of the supervising research center Interdisciplinary Institute for Environmental Systems Research (USF), in which study projects and the bachelor thesis are also prepared.The subject Environmental Systems Science is offered as a core subject and must be combined with another subject.
