Languages and cultures of the Middle East can be studied with a focus on ancient oriental studies. The subject is conceived as a philologically sound, interdisciplinary regional science that deals with the languages and cultures of the Middle East in their historical context, with the focus on the older epochs (3rd to 1st century BC), but also a connection to contemporary cultures is established. The temporal, geographical and contextual framework is essentially determined by the cuneiform script, which was used for a multitude of genetically and typologically different languages: Sumerian, Akkadian, Hittite, Elamite, Hurrian, Urartian and others. In this context, languages and literatures existed in other writing systems (Hethischluwische hieroglyphische, Northwest Semitic alphabets, Old Persian cuneiform script, Egyptian scripts) were recorded.

Transcripts from the previously attended schools, High school diploma, Passing of German Arbitur or equivalent, German Language Profeciency ( DSH-2, the Goethe Certificate C2 (GDS), the German language diploma level II of the KMK (DSD II)
