Program Overview

The course provides students with structured specialist knowledge of the basic areas of Latin philology and well-founded language skills as well as the relevant specialist knowledge and working methods. The students should acquire a reflected orientation and a reflected-in-depth special knowledge on the central areas of the Latin-Roman language, literature, culture and society as well as intellectual history in their respective contexts and in their importance for the European cultural area.
