Program Overview

The study of the subject Spanish qualifies for a theory and method-led analysis of the Spanish language and its literatures from the Middle Ages to the present day. They are placed in the context of European languages and literatures. The students learn to work independently and scientifically and to present their results both verbally and in writing in both German and Spanish. In addition, communicative, cultural and media skills are trained as key qualifications for various occupational fields. The subject Spanish can be studied in the major and minor subject either with the subject profiles linguistics or literature.
