Program Overview

The bachelor's degree in Ancient Studies offers a broad basic education in the five disciplines of Egyptology, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Classical Archeology, Prehistoric Archeology and Near Eastern Archeology. The interdisciplinarity is achieved through jointly offered courses (integrative area), the own specialization (profile area) as well as the scientific expansion through individually selected events (Affiner area). The areas are supplemented by the area General Vocational Preparation, in which interdisciplinary and pre-vocational skills can be acquired.
