Program Overview

The course combines the subjects of ancient history, classical archeology and prehistory and early history. It provides you with basic knowledge of the prehistoric and ancient cultures in the extended European area (including the southern Mediterranean countries). At the same time, you will receive an introduction to the numerous sources of classical studies and to the diverse historical, cultural and scientific methods for researching them.
