Program Overview

Complex networked systems from the fields of natural science, life sciences, technology or organization and logistics are all around us and define modern, high-tech daily life. Questions thus arise relating to the mathematical description of these systems and their use to produce simulations for forecasting and also to identify parameters, optimizing systems, playing through 'what would happen if' scenarios and providing decision-making support to users.

Additional Information & Requirements

General university entrance qualification German Abitur or an equivalent recognized qualification, Students are expected to have Level B2 English skills, Highschool degree that is recognized to be equivalent to the German Abitur. Additionally, you have to pass a language test, prove English skills by a TOEFL or IELTS test, English language skills are required at the level of B2, which means that a TOEFL result of 550 paper based / 213 computer based / 79 - 80 internet based, a IELTS 6,5 points, or higher are mandatory, German programs require German language skills DSH, level 2 or TestDAF, level 4 - a Goethe certificate or other language tests
