Program Overview

Graduates of this course are expected to be able to familiarize themselves with complicated economic and other problems and to make them accessible to mathematical processing with the help of modern scientific solution methods. The bachelor's degree includes a solid basic education in mathematics and economics. In addition, modern mathematical theories and methods that are standard in business today are the main subjects of the course. Therefore, in-depth knowledge in the disciplines of mathematical optimization, probability theory, Mathematical statistics and financial mathematics are taught that are particularly suitable for modeling economic processes. In the area of economics, in addition to the basics of modern business administration and economics, specializations are offered in the areas of operations management, business decision analysis, investment, finance and capital markets as well as finance.
