Program Overview

With the increasing digitization of our society, there is an increasing need for mathematics. Using mathematical models and methods, social and societal challenges can be examined and solutions developed.The Department of Mathematics is characterized by intensive and individual support. Strong research groups in algebra/discrete mathematics, applied analysis, geometry/topology and stochastics offer students attractive opportunities to deepen their knowledge in a field of mathematics in the second half of their studies. In addition to classic application subjects, such as business administration, computer science, physics or economics, you can study applied systems science, geoinformatics or cognitive science as an additional subject.
