Today, large areas of economics are highly quantitative and require the use of advanced mathematical techniques. The bachelor's degree program in business mathematics therefore prepares students to solve complex mathematical problems in their professional lives that arise from economic issues. In the bachelor's program, which can not be chosen as a minor subject, the basics of mathematics and economics are taught first.
