Program Overview

A special focus of the training at the Bremen Institute for Religious Studies/Pedagogy is the introduction of students to theoretical and systematic questions, such as the dynamics of religious diversity, migration, social change and the mediatization of religious traditions in the past and present. The training is not only aimed at reading selected religious textual/historical sources, but also at the safe methodical handling of empirical data and the collection and analysis of new media sources. In the school courses, the analysis of teaching processes is an important focus of the profession-oriented study.
