Program Overview

Criminal law, also known as criminal law, comprises those legal norms in the legal system of a country, through which certain actions are prohibited and linked to a penalty as a legal consequence. The primary goal of criminal law is the protection of certain legal interests such as life and property as well as the security and integrity of the state and elementary values of community life. In the course of study, basic legal understanding, subject-specific knowledge and skills as well as legal methodology are imparted. You will learn to solve simple legal issues independently and acquire basic knowledge of criminal law. You will train and document scientific work through homework and a seminar paper.
